It was 11th August 2005 when Bishop Dr. Johannes Friedrich of the Lutheran Church in Bavaria visited the Lutheran Radio Centre in Moshi.

Director Calvin Lyaro gave him an overview about the work done in the Lutheran Radio Centre, about the listeners ,and about the different programs reaching them.

Good feed back from majority of Lutheran Radio Centre's listeners showed him successful communication done by the centre.

In the afternoon, Bishop and Lutheran Radio Centre staff gathered to drink coffee and fruit cake .By the time, the Bishop had been toured in the station campus.

He made the visit during a study tour through different institutions of the ELCT, to learn more about the work done in Tanzania.
